Color Repair:

Steam Shine is certified to perform color repair on many stains and can work with any type of carpet and most upholstery fabrics. If you have permanent discoloration (from bleach, wine, dyes and inks, animals, etc.), we carefully match the color to restore the fabric dye in the discolored area as closely as possible back to the original color, creating an eye-satisfying (and economical) solution to the worst of stains!

Many things may discolor your carpet--- sun, chlorine bleach, pet urine, high PH cleaners, medications and food compounds. Regular carpet cleaning can remedy some of these problems, but when discoloration of carpet fibers is permanent, Steam Shine can remedy by replacing the missing original color or apply an oxidizing agent to remove the foreign color.

Our IICRC certified technician will

evaluate the type of carpet manufacturing (whether your carpet is woven, tufted, needlepunched or fusion bonded).
identify the pile style (whether your carpet is cut, looped or a cut & loop)
identify the type of carpet fiber (olefin, wool, synthetic, acetate, rayon, nylon, polyester).

Please tell the technician if you can identify the spot or stain substance, and the technician will identify the PH of soils and spot sources.

With a practiced "eye" and patience, we perform color repair and save you from having to replace your entire carpet.
